[Natalie + Robert]

Black Swan

Natalie and Robert met in high school while on a school trip to London. The two of them rang in 2018 with a New Year's Eve wedding at Black Swan downtown Milwaukee.

How did you decide on your venue?

We loved that it was right on the river and knew it would be able to have a warm inviting glow for a New Year's Eve wedding.

Favorite song from the dancing portion?
Maybe Firework by Katy Perry or the New Year's Eve countdown. The end of the night was a blast because it was all of the songs that Robert and I had specifically requested.

Biggest challenge when planning your wedding?
Making everyone in both happy while also creating the wedding day that Robert and I wanted.

Do you have any wedding planning advice for other couples?

Hire a wedding planner. They make the month before the wedding an absolute breeze and take care of all the little details that are exhausting to think about (like table linens).

Favorite wedding day memory?

It is hard to pick just one, but I remember being on the dance floor with Robert in from the of the DJ booth and both looking at each other in awe of all our guests on the dance floor. It was so awesome to see how many people showed up to celebrate and be there for us on our wedding day.
